Background
Global Humanitarian Aid (GHA) is a Canadian non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to providing life-saving relief assistance and long-term support to people and communities affected by natural disasters all around the world without discrimination as to nationality, race, gender, religion, class or political opinions. We promote humanitarian values, disaster response, disaster preparedness, health and community care .We help people build the healthy environments they need to thrive and empower them to create lasting change in their own lives and communities.
The volunteers are expected to support GHA’s humanitarian support activities in disaster affected communities. They will be responsible for coordinating projects with local communities and stakeholders. The volunteers are entrusted to promote volunteerism through their action and conduct to realize the goal. It is our expectation that you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and ideas in furthering our objectives to bring positive change within the communities.
